KETEK® Has a Unique Molecular Structure
KETEK® lacks the molecular element needed to induce macrolide-type (ermB)
resistance†.
It should also be noted that KETEK® has not been shown to induce resistance
to itself in vitro.

capacity of macrolide antibiotics2
To reduce the development of drug-resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of KETEK and other antibacterial drugs, KETEK should be used only to treat infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria.
